Help Identifying Power Supply Resistor

Evening guys. Please can anyone help me identify a suitable replacement for this component. Part of power supply on Technics cassette deck.

Many thanks, J

Anything else on the other side of that part? Why does it have such long leads? What does it measure?
Also need deck model number and/or schematic.

Thanks Rayma. Snapshot of schematic attached - R 609 R610 - Model No: Technics RS-B505. I’d be happy to replace with a suitable alternative. No idea what power capability though.

Inrush limiter, fuse, etc. Does not appear to be flameproof. Probably a 1/2W carbon film will be ok.

What's wrong with the old ones? Do they both still measure 0.22 Ohms?
No they’re both open, I shorted the power supply with a temporary fuse I’d hooked up. Long story, I heard them fizzle away.

I put a 1/4 watt in just for very short term test and started smoking within mins

These are likely fusible resistors (they look similar to ones used by former employer in the audio business) and they did their job when a component failed, for continued safety they should be replaced something similar.
That’s what I initially thought, those being fuseable. Do you have any suggestions, those fuseable resistors are difficult to source. What’s your thoughts on a metal film alternative and would you have any idea on power handling?
