Hey folks, I obviously can tell this is a 17.5uF cap @ 300VAC but could somebody help me with the type (I know it's electrolytic, LOL).

Probably paper in oil.
Metalized polypropylene, oil (eccol) filled.
Identical to CSC motor-run caps (commonwealth sprague capacitors)

I have a box of like 10 of these they appear to never have been used.
None of the quick connects have been scratched by use.

As jacco says, probably motor run/starter caps *or* line power factor correctors.
