Just the scale for the app. If you right-click on the little emitter and edit you'll see the frequency. (this sim can do things like light,microwaves, etc. too).But it says the source frequency is 2?
The sim stops around 6500hz. Here is the same sim with that frequency.
Dome decay rules!
The room is excited way more by the dome shape... the room is the most potent deterrent of accuracy in a lot of cases.

@camplo The 2d sim is just a simple view to remove complexities for comparisons. I get your point- why compare when the room is at play? I'd argue it all adds up. I still have (3) 3ways next to each other in mono. I can tell when the floor woofer is playing vs the one that is 2ft off the floor. I can hear baffles.
