just want to know what do you guys think about it?
and, is it better than PC based + USB DAC player?

For $200 it looks like a bargain.
This looks quite amazing. Especially compared to all the idiotic kits diyers seem to adore. Wrong geographic location and wrong language though.

Anyway, I'd say it's a fairly matured product as of now. It can handle APE, Flac, 24bit/192KHz wave files as well as spit out 24bit/192KHz SPDIF data stream.
You do have to provide your own hard drive though.
Another Chinese website is also bringing out a similar product. This one is based on the ADI Blackfin processor running at 600MHz. It hence has the extra horsepower to do upsampling in software! A bit more higher end yet the release date is still unknown. The price is about the same. Both machines can do firmware/software upgrade through internet:

It's a pity it seems to work with IDE drives. These days i only use 1TB SATAs and have no idea if large IDE drives are still in manufacture. Any chance for SATA support?

Default is 2.5" IDE. You can easily convert it to 3.5" SATA driver with a small $5 conversion card or you can wait for their expansion card which will be released later this year.
The player by cndiyclub.com has default support for SATA.
