Any updates on listening impressions with the Eikona 2s? What was the consensus at the 15th annual VI diyFEST?

I have that on an LP, but i’d have to check if i have a version on the server. I could always hook up the TT, it is right there (and 2 phonoAmps).

as it's been identified i need to experience properly designed t lines, how much are these going for?
It has been given some thot. You’d have to come up w something sonically transparent and did not create any visual break. Black driver might be easier.
Since it was 1st discussed — very flat black paint -- this stuff has come out, claimed better than VanaBlack & available relatively cheap. Would invite some experimentation.
They are currently out. An unexpected rush. Unexpected?

It is less black than vantablack which is a kind of molecule forest, it is however a very black traditional paint that should be more than sufficiently black for our use case.
