The H2 generator is unbalanced, so you would have to add it at a point in your system where
the signal is unbalanced. Of course, you could add one H2 in each phase of each channel,
but this would tend to reduce the benefits of a balanced system. But you could try that anyway.

Take a look at posts #163 -165 in the H2V2 thread, shows how I built my Balanced version. Completed project is on post #209. They were built with unity gain and are placed between the preamp and amp.
Since the H2 circuit is single ended, wouldn't the added distortion be different at each moment
in the two phases, since the two phases of the signal are in opposite polarities?
Then the difference of the phases at the output (even if that is at the speaker terminals with
a balanced power amplifier) would not have just the simple H2 distortion.

in principle, 2nd is going to be nullified in Bal mode
of course, each phase can be set differently, resulting in whatever is wanted/needed for THD Spectra
though, that being achievable only by someone who's not in need to ask that sort of question at Forum, demanding not just some level of experience but also some hardware for measurements and setting da thing

What is unity gain,if I may ask.Take a look at posts #163 -165 in the H2V2 thread, shows how I built my Balanced version. Completed project is on post #209. They were built with unity gain and are placed between the preamp and amp.
I was just asking because another member on this forum built a balanced version...but your right, I don't have the skills or the experience or the test gear to dial in 2nd harmonics. I just thought there was a advantage to having balanced. I will stop working on this for now and continue with other projects thanks for your reply zenmod.in principle, 2nd is going to be nullified in Bal mode

gain of 1V/V which is 0db
practically output signal is same as input signal, no voltage amplification
"Unity" came from "1"
