Hammond wires

Thanks for the reply.
I'm looking at the 369, I have used simil;ar before and remember how to wire it up for 240v, I cant remember what you do with the surplus wires. I'm presuming they need to be clipped back and some sort of heat shrink cap place on them?

The connections are detailed here:
High Voltage (Plate) & Filament - 39 VA to 940 VA (300 Series) - Hammond Mfg.

The un-used leads must not touch each other, chassis, etc. I would normally shrink-wrap each one separately and then tape/tie-up the bundle out of the way. So if you do move to another land you have full leads for re-volting. Deluxe would be to bring them all to a terminal strip, but that is usually done only for multi-market production. You can (after testing!!!) clip them back, leaving just enough to shrink-wrap securely, but it is rarely "necessary" and may be annoying in some future life.
