Sure, now alls I need is a good control circuit, assorted support components, big Ls and Cs (I want sinewave out with reasonably high efficiency), and a good case to put it in.
I was thinkin' of PWM'ing the output stage at something like 30-36kHz, while modulating that at 120Hz, then some big Ls & Cs to recover the 60Hz component. Obviously, for a power level of 5-10kW, I would need some very big components. Not wanting to get too far off-thread, this may have relevance with Alex's original questions.
