I like SB Acoustics deep bass and beefy/stout build quality, but Seas is a very good woofer.
A lot of detail for an 8" and excellent specs.
Grills weren't big enough for SB Acoustics 234mm outer frame diameter, but Seas 222 mm was fine.

Wound up a little too short maybe.
Small/low volume details are very life-like.
84 cm high, but 94 cm might have been better.
Cross-over is good 5 degrees above axis vertically.
5-15 (maybe 20) degrees horizontally.
The red line in cross-over modelling is 0 degrees on axis vertically and horizontally.

Built for (electronic) music, but mostly TV.
Woofer doesn't move much even at moderate to "loud" volume, but sometimes not a lot of bass.
But also bass is almost never "boomy".
Just add subwoofer if you need more bass
Would be good for jazz and tube amps I would think.
Cat hasn't ruined the AMT drivers yet, so that's good.
The inductor calculator procedure in the attached pic seems to be very accurate.
Measure a few somewhat expensive inductors and they were spot on, down to about 5/100th's mH or so.
In box modelling (bassbox pro) yellow and orange lines are SEAS 22REX 42 vs 48 liters respectively.
Red line is SEAS 22REX sealed.
Green line is . . . I don't know.
