Glad to know you customs are not enjoying our kits!

I ordered mine about a month ago. If these are the remaining bits will my order be in there or are you waiting for more parts and doing a first ordered first sent arrangement?

Regards

I sent Peter a huge amount of parts, which were to cover all the orders up to 3 weeks ago (when I sent it), and additional parts, which should cover the more recent orders. If there is a shortage of parts for the rest of the orders, I can ship them out directly from US, instead of waiting for them to get to Peter. I am going to try to find the best way to get parts to Peter more quickly next time, as it is crazy that it takes this long to ship.

As far as shipping, I have mailed packages to about 15 other countries, most all arriving in 4-6 days, but it seems to take 3 weeks to get a package to Canada..... I am quite confused. 😕

I will coordinate with Peter to get all orders shipped out ASAP. I am very sorry for the delay that this has caused all of you.

Hi Brian and Peter.

Just a quick Q. Will you be popping up a list in this thread indicating whose kits have been sent? Just so I know to turn email notification on to keep tabs 😉

TIA
Kendal.

ps my order is under a different name, Loretta Young. Paypal was goofy 🙄

*edit: Brian. I read on the forums somewhere that you were going to try a zobel on your boards and give your opinion on whether it affected the sound, good, bad or indifferent. Just wondering if you'd tried it yet and your views if you have.

As for the names, I have a spreadsheet of all the orders, and I can grab the e-mail addresses of the orders that have gone out from Peter, and send out a mail indicating shipping (or show Peter how to easily do this)

As for the Zobel, I assembled an pair of amps with and without it, but haven't tested it yet. I just moved into a new house (my first house, from apartment), and I am still in the process of moving. I let my friend borrow the gainclones and main speakers, and he will let me know what he thinks of the amp with and without the zobel, and I will go over there and compare them in a week or so, before taking them to my new house.

That part number given #40/3021 is a good part number for Avel transformers they have dual primaries and dual secondaries with secondary voltage @ 22+22 and secondary current of 3Amps they weigh just over 4lbs. I purchased 4 of these same transformers about 6 years ago to have for a future amp the gainclone boards have come and that day has arrived I'm going to do a dual mono design useing these tranformer's with Brain's board's
