Resurrecting an old thread...
I keep getting occasional requests - maybe one every other month on average - to buy one of these boards. I'm starting to think that it might be worthwhile to touch it up a bit, fix any known issues, and build some more of them to keep around as people need them.
A couple of questions:
Has anybody built this, and if so, any feedback as to things that should be changed/improved?
Are there people out there who missed the group buy and would be interested in a board?
Pete

I'll echo SY. I have a pair of the original boards (and they are still, unfortunately just boards so far)
A high pass similar to SYs, or a buffered Passive would be of great interest to me.

Feedback: don't use Sallen-Key. ;-)
OK - you design it, I'll make a PCB!
😀
I'm in the market for some. Interested in other thoughts on the best, although I doubt I could contribute much to the design. (Or at least in a useful way ;-))

I started a thread for a group buy but it has languished.

In any case I'm interested in a PCB.
My only wish would be to use 6CG7's instead of 12AU7's unless it blows the design. I wouldn't figure it would matter a whole lot.

Deal, assuming that anyone else is interested!
The magic word: gyrators. This is how I did the Acheron, after reading the Billam paper on the excess distortion problems in Sallen-Key filters. Coincidentally, I got that up and running again last month (like much of my best stuff, it got somewhat discombubulated after two cross country moves shook my impeccable wiring apart). Then I acquired the DCX2496, which is tempting me to go all-digital and forget analog crossovers...

I'd love an archeron for the high pass on pcb. I think I emailed you how the article ended and you sent me something a couple of years back, but I haven't gotten the wherewithal to wire it up yet.
Interested. And local. I have a stash of 6DJ8s, mostly Tektronix pulls.
I'd be surprised if that same tube wasn't in Pete's inventory.

I'm in for two stereo 3 ways, if you need to sell extra I will help out and take a couple more.
cheers,
Peter.
6cg7, or 12au7 family would be good I have many to use in this lifetime.

I think I have a pair of Pete's boards from like 8 years ago. Never built them because I never built the TL speakers I was planning.
