Hmmm. I deleted a bunch of old messages in my inbox to make space for new messages. It seems that did not help... 🙁
Ok, PM function restored. 🙂

Hello can you summarize which waveguides are available for purchase from @mbrennwa @augerpro (or other folks who make the group buys possible)? I apologize if this information is posted somewhere and I missed it.
This group buy is for the waveguide described in the first post. All other waveguides can be had by sending the STEP files from augerpro to a 3D manufacturing service
Can other members recommend specific 3D manufacturing service companies you've been happy with? It's easy enough to go find one, but would appreciate any recommendations who have already done waveguide projects. Let me know if you can suggest a good vendor in the USA.
Hi,
I would like to purchase a pair of waveguides (circular version) if possible!
Will send PM asap.
Best,
Dominic S

General issues with 3D printed waveguides that are not related to this group buy are now here:
Problems with 3D printed waveguides
Is there a (safety)reason for not applying the D3004/6640 to the waveguide? is the protective grill also on the waveguide setup?
Good question. The 6640 will mechanically fit the waveguide (not sure about the acoustics, though). As far as I can tell, the grille is part of the ScanSpeak front plate, so the Be dome will be naked once you replace the Scan plate with the waveguide.
I can't say much about the potential safety issues related to Be. The Be dome is rather fragile and may break easily if abused. While Be is toxic, I don't know if/how this will be an issue if a Be dome breaks. I don't see how anyone would inhale or ingest pieces of a broken Be dome. However, that does not mean that I am saying you should not think twice, so don't sue me! 🙂
Oh, there are some guys who use the Bliesma Be domes in a waveguide without a grille. Just search around here on diyAudio for these.

Thanks for the info, I have to think about the cat 😉probably use the 6620Good question. The 6640 will mechanically fit the waveguide (not sure about the acoustics, though).
