peranders: I am a little confused. What is BPA300 compared to PA 150 compared to DRV134 ? I am interested in a litte more info. Be aware, I am a novice from Norway, but I am 120% certain that I can put together a module or 4 😉
The single LM3886 pcb is called PA150 and two such pcb's driven by a DRV134 is a BPA300 amp. You can check the webpage of the designer http://shine7.com
Hi Peranders,
Is there kits available for the DRV134 pcb's now. I'm confused at first you said there wouldn't be any but now it seems there are.😕
If there is can you change my WiKi to add the kits with my order. Just paypal me the difference.😀
Also one question, the rectifier is on board already, how much voltage is needed to run the DRV134 unit. Can I splice it from the big transformer (BPA300)
Thanks for your help... JohnnyP00

You can check the datasheet for the DRV134 if you want to know any details but if you use the on-board regulators you will need 17 volts at least if you use the LM317/337.Also one question, the rectifier is on board already, how much voltage is needed to run the DRV134 unit. Right now I'm waiting for the metal strip resistors. When I'll have them your stuff will leave me.
I have been gone for a long time, and havnt followed this forum much. I was without a computer. Peranders do you need the dale SMD power resistors? I have a reel left, and have donated to all the group buys before. please let me know in forum or email. Than you for your help with the previous group buy also.
Got mine, and it looks super-High End!
I'm just a bit puzzled by the errata note that P-A sent. I understand that +V and -V labels on X4 are swapped, but the other "minor" errors (X2 and X3) don't look wrong. What am I missing?

X4 is critical, smoke will appear if you connect it wrong but for X2 and X3 you will hardly notice the error unless you can hear the absolute phase.
P-A, the note says:
X2 shall be GND -OUT. It is this way on the board already, apparently.
X3 shall be GND +OUT. This seems wrong, as the second terminal (from left) is connected to the ground plane.
WRT X2 and X3, the outer terminals are connected to ground plane.
