We could have monthly meetings with the major ones hosted by Dave at his place. Some of us travel from across the city and really can't keep up a monthly trek across Toronto.
The minor meetings could be held at member's homes, or a Timmy's.

why not let the young blood have their shootouts and us grey beards can lean back and drain a cold one, or two
Sounds like a fun thing to do, I have never really participated in a ABX type test for audio.....
+1
I'll give some thought to switch-gear and methodology.
Anybody have an A/B or ABX switch? Anybody ready to offer their chassis for the test?
Anybody who wants to join can listen and prove how perceptive they are. And everybody else we'll just consider cowards and wimps.

Hey, no problem. It might be fun to watch. having a grey beard and all ...

Agreed
Nothing i have currently plays DSD. I left room and power supplies in my new dac to add an ESS or AKM DSD compatible chip set one day, but nothing currently implimented. You’d have to bring a DSD compatible dac.
The Mac Mini i have with Amarra in it will play a DSD file, but the dac can’t decode it (yet).

As I recall, having things to sell wasn't a problem before. There wasn't an official time, it just went along organically as the normal meeting went on inside.
What do you think Dave?

I think there will be some table space that parts could be put on and anyone interested could ask whose they were between tracks kind of a thing. Unless some-some one has a better idea
In case someone is interested, I might have a Tek 2246 scope (analog scope with digital CRT readouts) for sale. In very good condition with crisp and bright CRT, refurbished with, new relais, new electrolytic caps, new fan.
PM me if interested.

Yes, this will make someone an excellent piece of test gear. Either for upgrade or as their first 'scope.
