To compare with your lightspeed attenuator, I can bring my transformer-based volume control. It would be interesting to do a side-by-side.

What do we need to make a running system?
For an amp, I can chip in my old chip amp.
I have a small set of Totem speakers.
Can also bring a laptop loaded with with a music library and CMP2 XP setup. Could bring another set up with Linux if anyone wants to compare.

C'mon George, it only about 20 hour's flight time 😉 (via LA) from Sydney to Toronto. I did that once.

Sure. The meet start at around 2:30 pm on Sunday. I understand your situation.
Typically , when we met in the coffee houses, we stayed for about 1.5 - 2 hours. Since wlowes is gracioulsy providing thre venue this time, and look like people are bringing some gears to show, and there will be a audio set up (wlowes' chip amp and Totems speakers?) - I suspect this meet up may last longer. However, my take is that the meet will probably break before dinner time (right wlowes?). You can stay as long or as short as you want.

Great to have the Dyna clone. I will bring speakers and chip amp as a backup.
I suggest we plan to be wrapped up by 5.30 so we all get home to family in reasonable time so this can become a regular event.
