Well I am now running the Mundorf M-litic HV caps and have a noticeable improvement is sound over the Aerovox caps that were in before.

I heard that CDE 380lx are good filter caps can anyone confirm or recommend some good caps.

I have had excellent results with CDE 380 series caps in the primary smoothing phase, directly after a silicon rectifier.

In stages after that one you may want to pay more attention to ESR than to the surge rating, so Panasonic FC, Nichicon UPW, etc, may work better in later regulation phases.
