Global Warming/Climate Change hoax

Climate change conspiracy is promoted by the majority of scientist studying climatology as it pads their wallets.

Climate change denial conspiracy is promoted by the energy industry (Big Oil, etc) to cover up their destruction of the environment while they pad their wallets.

Which is more plausible?
Okay, I take it you refer to Climate change "BY US" conspiracy vs Climate change "BY US" denial conspiracy.

There is no controversy regarding climate change per se. Seems to be lots of confusion out there about this.

Compared to fossil fuel companies, so many people are getting rich in the areas of research, academia and non-profits due to climate change. We should post all their salaries. I forgot how much research grants pay the researchers. Typically 200 to 300K per year, I think. And who funds the climate denier studies? I believe it is mostly small business. Conspiracy theories, if you disagree with something it must be a conspiracy, right? The Caravan will destroy the U.S.A. and is full of terrorists. It could not be a total hateful domestic terrorist, sparked to action by political vitriol that shot people or mailed bombs, it must be a False Flag to swing the vote?

Really? What part do you find difficult to understand?

The inconvenient parts.

I'm a postdoc (whoop-de-doo), but as a point of reference, I am EASILY =< 1/2 my industry standard salary.

Just did a quick search for University of California system compensation -- full tenured prof in engineering (where they definitely pay better than elsewhere in the uni) is around 130k-150k. Remember cost of living and such is pretty high there, too, so this is on the higher end of the spectrum. So that's at/below the cost of a senior engineer in the same region, and the prof is payed far far better than the postdocs/staff scientists/students/research assistants that do a majority of the work.
