I have a GFA-555 transformer, and all the secondaries are figured out, but I can't figure out the primary side of it.
Blk/Blu are in series.
Yel/Wht are in series.
It has a Brown, red, Org left. Where do I hook up 120, and nuetral?
1.3 Ohms between
Org/red, and Org/brown
.5ohms between Brn/red
Can I use 2 seperate 120(240) for more VA?
thanks
Ben

OK I did a little playing around. I put some power to it. BIG BUZZ. This thing came out of a blown amp. The bridge rectifier was shot!.
OK so I have it hooked up to hot on the brown, and nuetral on the orange. I get 70vac on all outs. The only concern I have is 64vdc per out rectified. The red on what I thought was the primary is 24vac for the low voltage systems. I think this all checks out.
Thanks

Searching this board, it appears that user "Mayank" has the service manual for this amp. You might send him an email.
Alternatively, this web company sells various service manuals.

When I contacted Adcom, they e-mailed me PDFs for the 545 & 555 (series 2) at no charge.
I thought that was good service and public relations on their part.

Ben:
I came across this older thread ... did you figure out the wiring for the GFA-555 transformer?
If not, I should be able to dig up my notes and post the color codes. The GFA-555 had options to wire the transformer for different voltages 100V/120V/220V/240V.
