Do you already have the needed germanium transistors?
If not, hunting for them might be slow and expensive.
Only 2 of them are so, the others are plain Silicon and worst case easy to substitute.

instead of transistors 2N508 I used transistors USSR - GT-308V . My phonopreamp assembled according to the scheme JBL-520 works well with them ( photo in message 202).
