In Indonesia you can buy 2SC5200 ranging from 1,25USD to 3USD each in my experience there is no problem use this 110% fakes as long as you not going higher than 70 volt with 4 ohm minimal with 5 pairs more than 70 you go to your own risk less than 4 ohm is up to you

In my view, you are encouraging a bad situation. If they labeled them as the real part, or something else, you could buy those and be happy.

They stamp clearly TOSHIBA in this but for me its a ridicolous to believe its a genuine its has tiny die like 2 X 2 mm but I cant complain I will face it only need to make a test bed to know their SOA then use it so for long-long time I never can use toshiba or SANKEN datasheet maybe someday I can make my own datasheet from this fake transisitor, for something fancy I will hunt from shop to shop old tipe transistor especially the tipe not famous thats all I can do but I dont want to complain, buy from FARNEL or DIGIKEY is not my way I even dont have an credit card even I have they dont want to accept Indonesian CC. last time I got 20 pair a good transisitor its a gift from my overseas friend, live its a hard thing I dont want to make its more difficult........he..he.he

considering that the price i pay at various places for real ones is $1.30 to $1.90, you guys sure are receiving the short end of the stick.
Still, no reason to advertise how to use fakes. I'd use reliable relic ones, IIWY.

If folks are having trouble locating them, I could buy a bunch of real ones from DigiKey with my next order and ship them where ever at cost. Air Mail to Indonesia is like $4.00.

Anyway, they have the 2SC5200-O and 2SA1943-O for $1.98 each (quant of 10). I could order a rail of each (25 pieces) as I'd like a few for myself. Send me private mail if you want a few.
