GB for DC coupled B1 buffer with shunt PSUs

Yes, tough bunch the Armenians I believe. The country has had a hard time in history.

S.O.A.D are sooo much better than Cher! Mind you she probably looks better in a see through cat suit thingy...

I like B.Y.O.B and I think I like Mezmerize more than Hypnotize

Salas and all,

First of all thanks for the board design and thanks to Tea-Bag for running the group buy. Before I purchase, I want to know if I can use a pair of these boards to build a differential buffered preamp (i.e. balanced). The original Pass B1 can be used that way, you just need two boards. I just find this board more advantageous because there are no capacitors in series with the circuit and the use of shunt regulators of course.

So if anybody has implemented this successfully can chime in, please do...differential/balanced designs rule!

Best,
Anand.

A little bit. Freemont CA does not show up on my postal reciept. But I marked you as packed. So either the PO got the zip wrong on receipt, or it's MIA at my place.
So I will get another pair on their way. And if they show up, just send'em back.
😱
Thank you for the resend, Tea-Bag.
It has been a crazy work week, already passed 80 hours and still keep going like the energizer bunny. Even I got the boards, I wouldn't be able to even look at it closely, the bed would be more attractive, sigh. Anyhow, I will let you know when I receive the boards. Thanks again, need to go back to work again .......

thanks mate, will do, that held me back from purchasing boards today before speaking to you. funds are sorted so expect PP from me tomorrow..errm today 😉 I gotta start getting more sleep

stuff it, payment sent just now from user qusp (at) _____net (dot) com (dot) au

the buffer should drive headphones pretty well too yeah? low to mid Z type? not essential, but will probably give it a go. hang onto the boards for 24hrs though. I may get you to pop some sic fets in there too. will check your thread for availability
I have been told they are not suitable for headphones. Around 8-10mA (IDSS) maximum current per channel seems not enough for a headphone.

yeah probably right, I hadnt spotted that lol. its not high on the agenda anyway, but always a nice bonus to be able to do that with buffers or IV stages. I already have other good options anyway for HP, these blues will be used for a separate output for my ackodac to drive the cables to my active monitors
