GB for DC coupled B1 buffer with shunt PSUs

PDF file

Hi Tea-bag,

I missed to order a board in this batch (Hypnotize version).
As I planned to re-build part of my audio equipment during the next Xmas holydays, I understand that the best option is to make the PCB myself.

Could you please send to me the PDF file of the board?

Thanks in advance,

Raffaele

I've upped the number of boards I want, we are now on 101, does that mean a groupbuy?? 😉

Certainly said I would consider the group buy at the first of the year.

I will start getting some quotes. Since there is around 50 Mesmerizes that are claimed to be wanted, I think that this means there will be a price increase for those. The good price break starts at 100pcs.

Just for those who are late in the game, a built up mesmerize.
If you take a hack saw past the green resistors, you have a hynotize.😛

what about colors - Black and white seemed pretty popular, I could go white with black lettering this time....

Costs - last time Hynotizes were 5.50 each and Mesmerizes were 6.50 each.
5.00 to ship <4 boards, 7.50 for 5-9. I think 10 and over will need a different game plan.
Some of the international group buyers, bless them, took the shipping costs to the cleaners. I will probably do a international priority box for whatever costs, which limits to four pounds at 12.95. People in the states will probably get charged less. It isn't exactly fair, but will keep costs under control for shipping, which gets high with these boards in quantity.

And before we start again, these boards will be marked internationally with customs forms for the net value of replacement of the boards. You may have to pay customs.
I will NOT be doing favors for any of you guys at my legal expense.

I will try to target a dollar per board for a donation to DiyAudio forum. Please don't complain about that and bite the hand that feeds you..

New Builders,
Start you mediations and thoughts and prayers to the Almighty Salas in Greece for this nice sounding design, and CRT for making the layout, and changes, and more changes, and to the Proto-builders who were ruthlessly haggled and overworked to prove that the design worked last time before it went into production. 🙂

I edited the list for you two.

as you may know, the Hynotize can be used as a shunt regulated power supply for devices requiring under 10 amps of current, and the typical <30Volts. It takes some modification however. The current layout is specific for DCB1 values.
