Now that we are an official GB thread with orders being placed and paid for, the boards will be forthcomming. I thought that it might be a good idea to start an official build thread over in Solid State. We could use Ian444's text file as a starting post. This thread is definitely getting long, searching is getting difficult and should continue for GB issues only.

That sounds good. There is already a discussion and its still a manageable 17 pages. If Ian444 does not mind perhaps we can paste his file into a post over there for reference.

OT. I wonder how Uriah does in Austin. Did he manage to go with a working DCB1S & LSPD? Is he shooting out highnoon duels with tube cowboys under the scorching Texan sun? Is he keeping Austin weird by crawling through its excellent live music nightlife?😀

Added construction info and photos in this thread. I think we should move overe there for this kind of discussion and leave this thread for GB purposes. I will continue to add as much of the relevant info from here. This way when the boards arrive we will have a good resource to use.
Looks nice. Only last picture small. Although very nice when properly sized, better avoid it because it has the pot the wrong way around.

If you buy LDR's from diyldr (udailey)
He will be shipping all paid LDR's to me, and I am shipping them with boards.
I think if you pay diyldr (udailey) the 32.50, he will know its part of the group buy. He is away for the weekend, and will probably reply later.
Still a week to get things in order for this group buy. No worries.

Try Spencer - on the swap meet threads for 2SK170 sales - he is as good as from any US ( cheaper/faster ) source and I had bought many pairs even matched sets
