Check wiki
Seems you have managed it 😉
Amazing...

Thank you very much!!

Please correct me if I'm wrong...
Hi gabanyayaya, pleas ignore my previous post. I have asked the moderators to remove my post. Thank you for making the BOM. I attached it again for those who are interested.

edited out bits that are now irrelevant.....

On the subject of a BOM, should we not wait just a little until the final layout is done. Otherwise we will have several incomplete or incorrect BOMs floating about. Lets get the 1 or 2 layouts finalised and then we can do a single excel file with a BOM for each on separate worksheets.
What do you guys think?
Fran

Deluxe B1 layout update
hi guys,
sorry for being silent for the 2days.. i only manage to work on the layout today..
i' rearrange the deluxe b1 layout abit.. move the diode and cap to the psu board.

I agree. I usually know better and wait to see the boards now, measure out the parts, so the caps and resistors fit.....
Anyhow - On the deluxe version - what's this switching relay stuff going to cost?

Looking at the board it should be easy to have an external selector switch and connect to one relay input and stick in a couple of links. Not sure though which other components could therefore be left out.

Hi, I am not sure what you mean but the way it works is with an external rotary switch which switches the relays.

No sweat... this is just a small misunderstanding...
Cheers...
This the BOM I've posted before in the original post.
I've added Farnell's parts according to gabanyayaya job.
It's taken from here : http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=145201&perpage=25&pagenumber=2
My little input for this great project.
I'll add the parts required with both versions when the project will be fixed 😉

Thank you for your help. This project is very promising and every bit of help is welcome. We will all benefit from it.

Jean-Paul - I thought Tea-Bag was concerned about the cost of the various relays so I was just suggesting that it would be possible to not use the relays at all. Use a normal multi-pole (quality of course) switch to feed only one relay position, say K2, - this would mean having link pins 3-4 and 7-8. It just increases the options with board.
Alan
OK, but buying the standard version of the PCB might be a more adequate solution if you wish to use only a rotary switch for selecting sources 😀
I just checked and the relays are around 5 Euro/piece. Or 6 US $/piece.

I just bought some Nais TQ2 5v relays in ebay for 1.2$ each. In RS they are very expensive, about 7$ each.
I've sent an email to another ebayer... chances are though someone wokring on this project will get them before me!
Anyway, mouser has these ones:
http://ie.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?qs=sGAEpiMZZMs3UE%2bXNiFaVJz35TzGTaRd%2bM6G6imXKv8=
at €2.21 each.

Are these the right ones?

No, they should be TQ2-5V. The ones you found are "Self-clinching terminal" types (whatever that may be).
Jean-Paul,
put in your exact term and mouser gave me these:
http://ie.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?qs=sGAEpiMZZMs3UE%2bXNiFaVCLW1ZA8WQBLGF3Vwl4YaEE=
They;re in the datasheet as above, but nearer the top of page 2 of it. No "H" in the part number this time.
Good news is that they are cheaper!! €1.92!
Anyway, description is:
5V
2 form C
coil current 28.1mA
coil type single side stable
DPDT non-latching
Is that the correct one?

Yes, that are the correct ones. The picture is wrong though, it is only there for reference as they call it.
For reference I would add a picture of the right product 🙂

This may well be a correct part with its matching picture:

Please somebody correct me, if I am wrong.
