GB for DC coupled B1 buffer with shunt PSUs

I think cHoc means using a hypnotise as a power supply only for the pearl. Thats actually an intersting use for one - especially as I have a pearl too!!

I bought 10 hypnotise boards, and nearly all of them are already earmarked for upgrades to exisitng builds. God I need to get building soon!

That is what I meant, could it be done, would it be a usefull upgrade in consideration of the Pearl supply?

one of the jFETs is screen printed the wrong way round.
Fortunately the DGS pinout just swaps the D for the S and since these jFETs are symmetric the circuit should still work OK.

look in the middle of Hypnotize.
The lower (+ve side) jFET between 10r and 47r should have flat side to the left.

Do any of you remember post148?
6 trace cuts and 6 hardwired links solves the PCB error.

I only have a proto board and as I look with the ''Direct Coupled B-1...'' lettering normally readable, that side down, the K170 next to the 10R, faces flat side right. D&G together underneath, S to ground (through 10R), as in the schematic. The way you say, D will go earth side.

#148. You mean to apply force/sense. Andrew, those things you say are all OK by me to do and test, but both the +side Jfet orientation and the non metering bridge connection of the shunts to the audio part are my choices in those PCB boards after some subjective evaluations. Please don't use the term ''PCB error'' it can bring confusion to the threads.

Is this what you mean...? Which is the wrong one?

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
