OK, I'm in for 12 each of the 389V and 109V.

Charles is right, JFETs are quite robust. I store my sorted parts in ordinary plastic organizer trays.

OTOH, I think static protection is worthwhile, if for no other reason than just to establish and maintain good habits. And, ESD does not always result in total failure, it sometimes results in just a subtle performance degradation of the part... Also, I just don't trust the post office. I have nightmares about precious parts running through those automatic mail sorting machines, with some big rubber belt (aka van de graaf generator) zipping each envelope along. Call me paranoid, but for shipping precious cargo like these fets, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

If it's down to cost, I will often wrap things in aluminum foil from the kitchen instead of a proper static bag. Works just as well if not better, and it's cheap!

Hi again,

Still counted, some member more request, some less but we already reached 800 more pieces :smash:

About the payment, any way of payment is ok, T/T in advance, paypal, instant transfer (western union or moneygram) at least not "extra" works for me or pay like usual, perhaps walter wanna do that in jakarta 😀

Many thanks to a lots of expertise advices from Mr. Charles Hansen 🙂 🙂 🙂

To AndrewT: perhaps a 3,2% uplift is nice to me 😀 yes needs an extra energy to do GB, especially to 2000 pieces!! 🙄 but we will see later, is it OK DIY'er? 🙂

To Maousse: pls list once more, how many pieces do you needs, i'm a little confuse 😀

To hifiZen: alumunium foil task is already in my head 🙄 yes but for sure, i already send many chips worldwide, but just a little complain about packing and shipping, hope this too thanks to remind me 😉

To others: i dont know if i can get another batch, but for this 1000 pieces of both, i already reserved it, we are here already reached 800 pieces, 200 pieces is not much for this rare parts, so if later i said i dont have it more, sorry this over. even now i forgot to reserve for myself!! 😡 😡 😡

anyway pls take a look for my sale of nice parts here 😎

perhaps if dont much, shipping cost with this JFET buyer is FREE!! 😉

goodluck to you all!! 🙂

all the best,
a'af

Its time to change your order, only V version available to both of them, i count its all V version if not any info, no GR, no BL version! 😉

I'm flexible, i start it with 20 to accelerate this group buy to 1000 😀

all the best,
a'af

Dear All Audio Master
in DIYAudio Forum

2SK389V & 2SJ109V can replace what FET ?
Is it can change irf9610 and irf610 ?

please give me info about this, thank you

Jeffry,

this is a group buy thread, not an endless theoretical arguement class on JFET devices.
Waste a lot of time on elementary JFET info and Idss basics and this might turn into a missed train ride.
Just listen to the wiseguy geezers and place an order, only bare in mind that folded cascode stuff requires buying a substantial number.

These dual JFETs can replace other (older dual) JFETs in some cases, but not always.
A JFET does not replace any FET, it's a totally different animal alltogether.
And it certainly does not replace devices with a hundred times higher power dissipation level.
With an easy search at diyA you can find lots of JFET basics, you can even download entire books on (dual) JFETs from the web.
I've been assembling dual JFET circuits for decades, i'll be happy to tell you everything you like to know about them and i'm sure other more prominent ones are too.
But it's much more rational and efficient if you do that somewhere else, not at this thread.

Folks and fellow turds, i've got more and more exotic dual JFETs than most of you will ever see in your life.
A'af not Juang is very pleasant to deal with and V grades are a Bitz to find, don't ponder too much and get them fast/rapide/schnell/rapido/pesat.
