Strange email address you have... 😉 I have signed you up in my database. Don't worry about the editing the wiki list - it is only a snapshot of what I have in my database.

If you just leave enough clues in your paypal transfer for me to correlate it to you, then everything is in perfect order! 😉
Received with many thanks.
If anyone wants to post a simple "how to" on their build, I'm sure those of us with less confidence would love to see how it's done.
Cheers

If you have general questions, not answered in papas manual or here:
http://viller.eu/audio/2009jan_gbf5/gbf5_guide.pdf
just ask them.
Just realized I wrote "them" instead of "then"... well the bottom line is:
if you have questions not answered in the guide, then just ask them here or in a mail to me.
Then I'll take the general questions and make a FAQ in the guide.

I noticed you budgeted for heat sink grease. I'm probably going to use Arctic Silver Ceramique.
http://www.arcticsilver.com/ceramique.htm
I've been using it for years for CPUs and occasionally for high heat parts in TV repair. I imagine it will work for my F5. Of course it's no substitute proper sized heatsinks, but every little bit of heat which can be moved to the heatsink helps.

Does this greese negate the need for isolation pads?

Technically Yes.
Practically No.

You still need insulators.
I was doing some more reading about Arctic Silver vs Thermalloy. Thermalloy may still be the best solution for this project since it will work at higher temperatures (200C) than the Arctic Silver (125C). Not that it's going to run that hot, but you never know when you are adjusting the bias I guess you could approach 125C by accident.
