Okay. all boards accounted for.

Now I am just throwing a concept in the fray for the Ideal Bridge Controller based on LT4320.
Its a spin off of the concept based on datasheet of LT4320, realized by tvicol , suggestions by xrk971 , and lot of guidance by an Australian gentleman.

It is designed to substitute both the GBU25k type rectifiers and Vishay SIP-4 PB3508 type rectifiers.

It has the AC snubbers and as well as the LED indicator. All SMD ofcourse plus optional DFN package / DIL08 package for the LT4320 to retain flexibility.

Its not all that cheap to build either as the Chip and the Mosfet cost is a bit high compared to the normal rectifiers.

I have ordered a few PCBs and give it to willing members who want to see what LT4320 based design can do. The tester PCBs dont have all the options although maintain the basic functional schema.

Regards
Prasi

Besides my ongoing expiriments with the ACA, my next builds will be FW Aleph J and M2x clones. So I will need rectifiers capable of supporting class A operation of 1.8 to 2 Amps or more per channel. If the ‘ideal’ rectifiers can handle this amount of power, then I would be interested in evaluating a set.
