Take another stab at it!!!

Ok, officially this stuff is not for sale any longer!

Great! I'm sure one day you'll look back at this, and you'll be glad you didn't quit.

I'm sure you can do it because you put together those much more complicated velleman kit. There was a few "hiccups" but you got it working in the end.

You should post a schematic of the entire circuit, including the power supply.

It's probably just something small you overlooked. I was doing a microcontroller project at school that was decently complicated, but we couldn't get it to work. We had about 6 guys trying to debug it, checking all the connections, when finally we realized the master reset pin (active low) of the uC wasn't tied high. Totally stupid and obvious, but everybody missed it.

You'll get it going...

I have to confess I am surprised there are so many Dutch guys replying, and all of them are SO nice...
So what are you saying you are the 4th nice Dutch guy 😉 and here i thought all of us dutchies were known for our bluntness (yes and the fact that we are cheap (trying to deal with open doors here))...

But indeed keep on trying, i've also blown a klone (yes reversing plus and minus). But when you're finished and done you not only have something to listen to, but you can also explain to people why you actually build it yourself and not collect it in the store... Oh yeah and if you have i nice answer which is both short and convincing tell me please, because my "because its fun" does not seem to cut it for a lot of people.

Gainclone - Me too!

Glad to hear you are going to build this. I am also going to build one with isolated package chips, as I heard these don't get too hot under normal use anyway and got the chips cheaply. Please let us know how this turns out and if you have any problems with the isolated package!
