Here are some shots of the inside of the Goliath.

That's a bit different from the Thaedra I head amp. Are the switches for different gain?

Yes. Gain 58 ~70dB adjustable in 3dB increments.

On the Thaedra I head amp there are four 2200uf/6.3v capacitors per channel, I only see two per channel on the Goliath board, probably at the input stage. What is the voltage rating on the two big orange capacitors? If they are 35 volt capacitors they are probably for local decoupling and you're back to +/- 28VDC supplies.

The 2200uF large ones have 25V labels.

Well, that kind of limits the input to +/- 22VDC which is what's on the Thaedra I head amp schematic. Sure would nice to find an actual Goliath schematic.

I'm trying to get this working on my Thoebe too. Can you tell me which tabs the violet and red wires connected to on the pre pre-amp jack on the Thoebe? I just want to know that I'm getting the polarity for the jack power correct. Thanks,Karl

Finally found the unit and here is what I see.

Thanks Cambe, the middle shot answers the hook-up question...Don't want to mess that up, or Goliath may get reversed polarity and I'm not sure that would be well received. ;-)
