So reminiscent of a discussion of another Audio fraud, including the libel threat....
Interesting that the HOT inventor cannot\dose not provide3 any evidence on how the device achieves what he claims, but then he's also selling the ECT transducers:
NEW Product Release: ECT – Electronic Circuit Transducer | Synergistic Research
An even bigger joke than the HOT transducer, the ECTs look like airgun pellets that have been anodised.......

That's always the funniest (and lamest) part. The last thing a scammer wants to do is open himself up to the discovery process.

UEF Technology- Un Explainable Fertilizer Technology, to enhance the listening of the barren mind?
Un Encumbered by Facts Technology?
At least they're not obscuring the issue of credibility with truthiness.
There will always be a niche market to exploit those who wish for a quick easy upgrade; for those unwilling or unable to buy or create a better design, or increase the parts quality in well designed circuits.
Sorry but you need to wake up and look at the audio stuff, the difference is that audio scams are sold to suckers that believe in all the audio mumbo jumbo.
There is a big difference between humour and outright scams as we discuss here.
A nice link though Frank, cheers.

NEW Product Release: ECT – Electronic Circuit Transducer | Synergistic Research The placebo is strong in this one .
Yes I have mentioned these before, I would love to hear any explanation on how they work.....

By the process of money extraction from the excessively gullible. It's a well-established physical principle.
Based on a well-established physical principle, I'm positive an XL version of the ECT could effectively add some extra inches.
LOL.
I saw a video promoting these, it was incredible and here it is....

Santa, for Xmas this year I'd like a picture of SY wearing a Smyth A8, with an ECT placed on the tip of his nose.
(for the most effective impression, some ECT earrings too, if possible)

Holy CRAP! Maybe they should try putting one in each of their ears, I'm sure they would be even more "effective" there.
Mike
Just think you could be the poster child for the next generation of audiophiles. Take the Smyth A8 and a dummy head and sample the finest systems available, and correlate with the same reference dummy head and your own system and your own head. You could make your computer speakers sound like a $250K setup of your choice.
