You like squirrels, do you?
Seriously, if you ever get to the point when you're tired of promoting frauds and want to learn some actual physics (which, trust me, is FAR more interesting), there's a lot of sharp people here who would be glad to help you.

Do I gather that nanotubes are now retired and you've moved on to quote-mining Wikipedia on carbon fiber? Careful, there's at least one guy here who knows about everything there is to know about it (far more than I do) and you may be back in the same refused educational opportunity.
NO, if carbon fibre was really used, I would have been able to see it pretty well. That leaves:
If you wanted to blow a smokescreen with carbon particles, would nanotubes or fibres work best? My guess is carbon fibres, as nanotubes would be too small to scatter visible light. Or would lumps of soot be better? That contains all sorts of carbon arrangements!
I got it!, I got it, ...You have a single nanotube encased in that small hollow multi-thousand dollar cylinder you sell....right? You can't see it of course, but it IS there.
What is it? ...a tunneling Electron microscope to see it?
"My nanotube is broken!"...........curiously it still works......

Dam, I am going to have to change my view of the Bybee, its now a resistor, wrapped in ERS with a nice modern carbon fibre outer shell, much better than the original shrink wrap.
No, you have it all wrong. There are 2 different versions of the Bybee device. They use different materials, etc.
It is a 'fib', to keep people like you from copying the device.
🙄 Who would want to copy a fraud product that does nothing for the audio?

10,000 other things. More, perhaps. But when you're done, it's a resistor wrapped in BS.

I have integrity, I could not sell a Bybee to anyone, let alone copy it, especially as I have a particular attraction to naked resistors, all stripy ...😀
I'm starting to sound like Jacco.😱
They still are. There's a fanatical attention to detail, and an amazing variety of technologies, material, process, and design. I find that aspect very interesting, so I enjoy working on their projects. Ironically, I have something less than zero interest in golf itself. That's a pity- an avid golfer would kill to get in there and see what's going on.
Now there is a subject full of true science, wrapped in promises and false hope. Being a non-golfer, but was once in an office where that is all the salesman did who spent his every paycheck on miracle putters or drivers. We played around with them in the office between service calls. The different approaches to mass distribution and the interaction of the head to the ball as energy was transferred, time it was released back etc. Some science. Never helped his game any, but at least there was science and differences even a non golfer could feel. As you say, for someone interested in physics or manufacturing technology, fascinating.
