Its not a witch hunt, it open debate, read some of the numerous threads where not just Sy but others have disagreed with John. He likes to post comments that he knows full well are there just to get a response.
John and Sy have been at it for many years, I am just a novice with only several years in the fray.

This happened not long ago, when a trio of bad uns' criticised the quality of build of a valve based DAC modification that sells for a few K. Said trio were derided as evil and devils advocates....my own thoughts were boo hoo, work in the real world of design and face the criticism's you get there. (For the record I was a one of the evil ones).

I do know what it is, and indeed, they can be quite slippery if you step in them.

Would you like to show us a picture of the 'resistor' that you found? Perhaps you could also find the brand.
What you did was MEASURE A RESISTANCE. So far as I know you NEVER took one apart.

I think you've sort of worn out this snake oil promotion. Next up will be the squiggly lines with the circles on them, where you had no idea of the measurement setup or what was being measured, yet again?

I’ve read some posts that turned really personal that made me feel sick, one suggesting UK suing a member here and recently insults against another member with the allegation of using a no real name and having professional involvement with an audio manufacturing group.

"Take one apart"......Yes...Even if the powers to be encase the thing in "epoxy".........those rectangular bowl type enclosures. Once they set a board in, the epoxy nozzle comes down...."They'll never get to open this up, Ha, ha!"
They said it was vibration issues as to why.....but they surely crossed their fingers concerning the heat values warming up that chunk of epoxy.
They thought they had me with my old Suzukis CDI module went south...."How much?" I did find a schematic & slowly but surely chisel out the chunks of 'plastic', peeling away the plastic on small caps. I built it & it worked just fine, wrapped up the some three dollars worth, mostly was the 6" square perfboard. Saved me $77........
It would be expensive for sure just to prove this "snake in the grass"...A video of the "quantum purifiyer" being slowly dis-assembled to expose what is actually inside. The casing itself is probably the source of the Impedence.....probably not a pure Resistance.....just some magical Impedence value." The perfectly vectored "formula".

Let me try to explain by RESISTANCE not made by a RESISTOR.
Take 2 matched diodes, put them side by side, but in opposite polarity. Then measure what ohms you get from your favorite ohmmeter when putting the leads in either polarity. Is that a REAL RESISTANCE? Now, a pair of diodes is NOT a Bybee device, and does not act as a specific resistance in almost all counditions, but think in those terms as to what a Slipstream Bybee device is, and you might get the answer.
