Thanks marce.
Going by the bruising though I've got the suspicion that they may have gone the wrong way! I think they should have gone up when they did go down.
Not sure yet guess I'll find out in the next few days.

Not clicking that link just now, knowing jacco it'll put me off dinner.
Glad to hear Charles Darwin is doing well (have you got a painting growing old in the attic) 😉
One of his best quotes "It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change".

I wish!
At some point in my life I suffered from a bout of hero worship and and misplaced grandeur when joining web things and now I'm stuck with it. ;-)
Consequently I am playing online poker under the name James Clerk Maxwell somewhere.

"In a few years, all great physical constants will have been approximately estimated, and that the only occupation which will be left to men of science will be to carry these measurements to another place of decimals" James C. Maxwell
Does he post on here? Wonder what he thinks of OPA627

I quoted him as "John Clerk Maxwell" in another rather infamous thread. I'm not about to let myself live that one down. Not sure what that guy did. Picked the wrong apostle, methinks...
Besides 'inventing' modern physics and enabling Einstein to do what he did Maxwell was a really nice guy.
He always insisted on getting time off so he could help with the harvest on his family farm in Scotland and a further one day every week which he used to give free lectures in the local working man's club.

Ouch, to close to home....😀
First time I had one it was doing my head in so I tried moving it, not a good idea there is a balloon inside to hold it in...😱

A man in touch with reality. Cool.

A Scot with a urethral catheter may be tempted to play the 'bag' pipe
Yeh that old pipe tune - The Stereotype.
We've gone Dutch now jacco but don't worry, we don't drink the bong water 😛

Wish I did, I got violent again instead and hit the table with my left hand, spent half the night at ER.
ER ain't exactly the best gig in town jacco. Surely the cafe scene could better cater for diy audio burnout cases

Wouldn't 'ash bucket' be more fitting ?
Nah, that's a sign of oppression here now. Having to stand outside the pub in the rain beside a bucket to have a smoke is Orwellian.
tobacco phobia is widespreading, no wonder, since tenths of chemicals inside are (possibly)carcinogen.
he used to give free lectures in the local working man's club.
I do that all the time.

That is great but would you turn down gainful employment if they do not give you a day off to do so?
