I wouldn’t worry, the arrestor will tell youwhen the wick is too high. It is fingirs and paws that are the usual culprit,.

Probably some trace ingredients as well. And then bombarded with electron to change a thin layer (molecules thick) intodomething more akin to ceramic.

Lol, no fingers or paws here anymore.
I did wonder though, whether to make a grille that would fit over the drivers.
Something rectangular, perhaps half the height of the baffle and held in place with magnets..
You know, for when nieces and nephews come over with their grubby fingers and paws 🤣
