Sadly, no. The Trace Elliot of today is much different, under new ownership and seems to be focusing on lower price solid state stuff. There best amps were the Twin Vlace, Quatra Valve and Hex valve. The preamp in those is still sought after. I like the twin becasue it is fairly light and compact for a bass tube amp. I run it flat. Sound to die for and you can push it a little but it's not really an overdriven sound. It's just a Hi-Fi sound with cajones and mojo, if that makes any sense.
indeed it does - so just scout the local buy 'n sell then 😉

Sorry if I have missed it but, will there be a kit of the FHXL for the 10p? If so, any details?
If we can figure out how tomake it, and then pack it while keeping the macimum length under a metre.

well, the fabrication of parts for such a kit would be easy - keeping the safely packaged dimensions within the limit is the tricky
Plans will be available... Scott & i have decided a donation of a minimum $10 to the forum to get them.

Hey how do I PM/email with questions about driver prices and kit shipping to 98056? I don't get the option to PM planet10 when I click on his name like other users.
Bamboo flatpak?
Any chance that a bamboo plywood FH MK3 flatpak might be made available? Or, might it be possible to commission one? If not, what is the current availability of BB flatpaks?

Hi Carl,
A bespoke bamboo ply FP could be likely be done. Price might be scary.
I am expecting the 1st of the next batch of kits this week.

Hope this is not out of place to ask.
The much vaunted KEF LS50 acts as a point source though not single driver. Anyone heard the FH3 and the LS50 side by side and can comment on the pros and cons of each? They are completely different animals in design, but the idea of a single point source type driver is the same.
If this is not the right forum, and someone can direct me to t he right forum, I'd be much obliged.
Thanks!

Probably best to ask that question in the Frugel-Horn thread,
