I grabbed the plans from the link in the first post. the plan set is Horn-Lite-0v9-290615.pdf
I didnt see a vertical baffle version? But i am kinda blind 😅 or did i grab an old version?
Well that would explain why i couldn't find the hornresp model! I must have mixed up my memory...
What is the best tool for modeling these?
Thanks!

Hornresp has greatly expanded capabilities, the creator keeps adding to it. The OD setting (offset driver) is appropriate, and use the first two segments to define the first section of the horn up to driver position. The driver position is between those two segments.
The final portion of the horn, that "rounded out" horn mouth at the rear is not insignificant, as far as I remember it facilitates better radiation of the sound waves coming out of the mouth. However, I am not certain how to model it correctly. Usually, pipes that have an angled terminus behave like a pipe that is halfway between the short a long end. That's probably a good starting point. (But any suggestions are very welcome, I have been thinking about it for years. ðŸ¤)

There isn't one, the sloping baffle & physical configuration are actually functional parts of the design, so as-is vertical doesn't work -it would need a complete revision with additional panels to perform as intended. Not impossible, and we've been asked before, but it's on the back-burner at the moment since the existing has proved popular.I grabbed the plans from the link in the first post. the plan set is Horn-Lite-0v9-290615.pdf

Two reasons for that. Firstly, Dave, Chris, Ron & I design them ourselves so we don't generally put models out. And secondly, none of the FH series are actually designed in Hornresp; they're a mixture of MathCAD, Augspurger's software, AKABAK and ANSYS / COMSOL depending on the specific design. Nothing against Hornresp (quite the opposite, I use it quite a bit), just a mix of design timing, configuation flexibility and the fact that they're not just based on the 1d wave equation, so plane wave models don't show everything.Well that would explain why i couldn't find the hornresp model!
As best as I can recall, the tall raw plywood pair in the centre of photo Dave posted in reply 316 above was essentially the equivalent to morphing the 5dg tilt-back of the FH3 to a 90dg vertical orientation, and creating an MTM with a pair of CSS VWR126 and ERT 26(?) tweeter. Can’t exactly remember the details of the XO in that configuration - i.e. whose design and filter orders, etc - other than that it was a tight fit to getting it all crammed in.
They certainly wiped the floor with a single FE126 in the dark mahogany FH3 shown to the right, but the WAF wasn’t great.
FWIW, those CSS drivers from the later period of Bob Reimer’s management were quite wonderful - my upstairs system for the past 8 yrs or so utilize the same models in a slanted top enclosure with design aesthetic a cross between Dave’s Castle Microtower, and a mid ‘70s Winslow Burhoe EPI 201 (minus the extended side panels). Only change since installation has been miniDSP to high pass and EQ dual sealed subs, with a little EQ on the mains.
This little background / casual listening system is for streaming only, with a BlueSound N130, Neurochrome Modulus286 for the mains and Hypex UCD180 on the small sealed subs. My wife loves the rig, which as all y’all married for over 50 years know is worth all the invested equity - sweat and otherwise.

Different conditions unfortunately; the increased height allowed a revision to the curved terminus which works fine in those dimensions; in single FH-L size & shape it largely collapses.
