I just did a few layouts of pcb boards in Front Panel Designer and I though I should share:

These are useful to when doing layouts of builds and also when ordering drilled panels. You can easily make macros of them as well. I took the measurements from Twisted Pears and AMBs websites.

if you want it moved dont wait for them to stumble upon your post, use the report this post button in the bottom left with the exclamation mark and tell them you would like it moved. handy documents mate!
When you get time, could you do the original Kumisa III:
HeadWize - Project: The Kumisa III Headphone Amplifier by Benny Jørgensen
Or you think that would be easy using the C2KIII pcb (yours or AMB ones)?

Not sure what you mean, but the files I have posted are not actual files for making pcbs. They are just the layout for Front Panel Designer to check layouts for cases.
AMBs boards are great by the way. Im building one right now.

I misunderstood, nevermind.
MrMajestic:
This is quite helpful, and I would encourage you to add other HiFi2000 front and rear panels. Given that the moderators of this fine site are poised to start selling Pesante Dissipante 4U and 5U enclosures, the addition of the front and rear panels for those enclosures would be especially nice.
Regards,
Scott

I uploaded files for the 4U and 5U. Please bear in mind I've never bought an actual case they are just made from the files I found on Hifi2000.
Front Panel Express
Hello MrMajestic, Thanks for all of these. I must be doing something wrong, I've d/l the front panel express designer tool, but when I open these .fpd files I just see a panel with 4 holes in the corners (in the example of the Buffalo III fpd for example). I can't figure out what other 'view' or other option might be possibly wrong, so that I can view everything in your designs... any clues for a newbie to FPE?? TIA, /Mike

You are not doing anything wrong. The Buffalo III file is just an outline of the Buffalo III PCB so you can do a case layout. The Hifi2000 files are empty panels with only the mounting holes.
Has anyone tried the GX38x type files? Are they accurate?
I have had panels made using these files myself.

Thank you, just what I needed 🙂
