Thank you for the advice guys.
So if I want to build the G Chang I would have to stick
to the FE207 for best results. I've read somewhere
that one can add an tweeter to extent the treble.
Advice, what kind of tweeter would work well with
the FE207 best ?
Thank you all

FT17.
There is a slightly smaller design for the 167 as well, if you wished to go with the 6 1/2in unit.

Hi Scottmoose,
You talking about the Chilli Chang ? I prefer to go with
an 8 inch speaker. May I ask, Is the FE206ES-R suitable
for this cabinet ? I would presume that this version would
sound better than the standard model. Yes, I understand that
the cabinets are specific for the FE206/207E but are there
other speakers that can be used with this enclosure. ? BTW
why is there a need to add a series resistor when using FE206 ?
Thank you for your advice

Because the FE206 needs to be made to look more like an FE207 to work in this enclosure.
From our experiments with Brynn adding the series R removes any advantage the bigger magnet driver may have. For this box i'd use 207.
People have been substituting Pioneer B20 as an inexpensive way to get started with the option of upgrading to FE207 later.
