Nice to meet the seller here. I am going to try them in the Aiko, if they don't work very well it would be cheap enough to pick up a pair of F103's on Madisound to place in my cabs. Will see how they perform.
Just curious how much the other guy was supposed to pay you? What did you sell these for to me again? I don't recall without going back to the eBay account....25-35 bucks I think I recall.

Jeff, you bought those from me for $26, shiping was $13. Pretty good deal on your side. The other person was about to get them for $39, but did not follow thrue.
The reason why I prefer to use such fullrange drivers with woofers is that once you releave the fullrange from low frequencies, let say below 200Hz, then they reward you with much better midrange and hights.

Cal has a set of 10F3 in his Jimmys and i've had at least one pair thru here.
Actually Cal has the Coral's in the Jimmy's. The Foster 10F3's ended up here. I use them with the Shadow woofer. They are shown with the temporary aperiodic loading booger rags.

If I were to cross these speakers somehow at around 200hZ would there be any benefit to placing them in the Aiko enclosure? Why not put them on an OB or something, possibly with a small sub built to the back of the OB? Seems to me this Aiko really helps the bass region say below 100hZ. What would be the best method of crossing a speaker like this where the -6dB is around 200hZ, maybe a single large cap? (besides electronically).
What do the rags do in the picture of the horn above?

No benefit. If you were going to use them as mid-tweet i'd load them in a TL similar to that in Tysen.
Using with a woofer has the disadvantage/advantage of needing another amp, or the disadvantage of having to come up with a passive XO.
An advantage is that you no longer have to worry about whether your FE103A have wandered from optimum parameters.

That enclosure is actually a BVR, i'm sure Cal was playing with what happened when you aperiodically loaded the ports.
FE103 (the new version) should work in Aiko, we do know that FE108eS works a treat, FE108eS will go back into our Aiko (unless the owner of the drivers decides that he'd rather have them)
