I use Vtc and Atc to calculate the driver cutout, Sd x 1.905cm (0.75in).
I also use it as a 5th segment or compression chamber.
It's also useful for modeling 3 chambered (trifold?) TH like the Keystone design. You cannot fold a 3 chambered constant expansion horn into a perfect rectangular enclosure without changing the flare rate of 1 of the chambers.
I usually make Vtc & Atc cover S1-S2, L12, S2-S3, L23, or big enough to mount the driver inside the chamber like a bandpass enclosure.

Here you go!
49.5" high x 17.5" wide x 14.25" deep.
40 liter - John's comments:
I was pleased to hear no big spikes or dips and an overall smooth sound. It goes deeper with power than it seems like a box that size would, especially with that driver, but I couldn't really whomp on it. "

looking at the sim, with a roll off starting above 60 Hz, that curve is not significantly different from the low-end rolloff of a Heresy 1-3; if anything, it looks worse. I would hesitate to even describe that as a sub. Am I missing something?40 liter - John's comments:

sorry - I should have posted it in the subwoofer forum. The reason it appeared here was due to its sim by BP1fanatic for my request of something tuned around 50Hz. The Klipschorn is basically a 50Hz horn. LaScala ~110Hz (as a horn)
If you need to dig deep that 35Hz tapped horn for a GRS 12PT in this thread could do pretty well. I would suggest sealed or 6th order bass reflex - or just buy a good commercial powered subwoofer on sale.
For a lot of genre - you could make a new back panel for your Heresy get new woofers and port it .

I guess I don't understand why you would go to the trouble of making a "subwoofer" and have it roll off so high? it seems like a waste of effort. at 55Hz, i wouldn't even refer to it as a sub, it's more of a narrow band folded horn woofer.sorry - I should have posted it in the subwoofer forum. its to augment horns with cutoff around 120Hz and also for bass guitar whose fundamentals in the lower region are weak compared to H2 and H3. Five and 6 string bass's low notes are often more a "bong-g-y voice" rather than the experience one would have with a pure sine wave.
Look where Tune Bot suggests the tuning of kick drumsL
Back at my house there's a 5 foot tall 10 foot path "subwoofer" designed by TB46 and built for me by Jesse Brunner
It goes below 20Hz make two for the Heresy

I didn't see anybody mention the subs from the mothership. Seem to be little brothers of the cinema kpt-1802. I think there was going to be 3 sizes and lost track of what happened, but I remember seeing protos at Iain's a ways back and thought to pitch it in here for other/future readers. FWIW.
