I always thought the Ramones were a ground breaking band for sure, but they were very heavy into distorted bar chords.
I know some people love them and all, but I think they are really a very basic rock/punk band.

The pic of three male singers reminds me of this - only two guitars here, but still nice:
This is a beautiful piece of guitar playing that I received from Acoustic Guitar Magazine. Wonderful song and excellent guitar player. I like the sound of the guitar very much.
Lately I have been doing more finger picking on my FHAG, really like getting used to this style of playing on my guitar, because you barely touch the strings and get a wonderful, big sound.
In my humble opinion, I think if this gentleman were playing this song on my guitar, it would loose some of the thin sound on the upper end, and the warm lows would be even better. Plus it would provide much more resonance and sustain. I always look forward to the end of the song, because I usually let my guitar ring out for about a minute untouched, the sound lasts forever!
When I play the last harmonics on Little Martha, I always move and put my ear as close to the sound hole as possible, what a wonderful sound, about as good as any musical instrument can produce. Too bad it seems to be mostly trapped inside the guitar body, and is much more difficult to hear just three feet away.

Getting some success with my "Belt ' n Wireless" setup. Imagine two Sonicake Pocket Masters mounted on a utility belt, with a box holding two wireless transmitters, one ofr each stereo channel. The box has two TRS plugs to get the stereo signal from each Pocket Master. The two lefts and two rights are mixed even; you can up the relative level simply using the volume control on whichever PM; one for vocal, one for guitar. I'm using a headset mic for vocal, so I'm fully "self-contained".
The transmitters go to a stereo FR speaker / amplifier / battery that can be anything - even a FHAG. Had another player play through it with my settings for guitar and vocal last night at the open mic, after hauling it some distance from the venue. We both were blown away by the sound; me being his audience of one and finally getting to just listen to the setup; a little compression, ambience and flanger effect on just the guitar. Told me he'd looked his whole life for a sound like that. Pretty encouraging. The amp sounds pretty good being outside of a room of somekind.
