So when you shine a laser from North America and another from Asia, at an object say 10 light years away, they would be the same angle of incidence on a flat earth, but would vary greatly on a globular earth.

A simple experiment: imagine you are in North America, and your friend is in Asia. In a clear night, measure the elevation angle of the Moon, and record and share your results by phone. Calculate the distance of the Moon, using some trigonometry, supposing both of you are on a flat Earth. Then measure the distance of the Moon by radio echoing method (a radio amateur having the right transceiver and antenna can do it and it has been done many times by average radio amateurs). The two results will not agree. But they will agree supposing a globular Earth of known diameter.
But they're not 10 light years away. They are very small and very close. Do keep up!
I did some amateur radio moonbounce experiments back in Florida. That ended when AT&T put a cell tower across the street and raised my noise floor about 10 dB.

The visibility of the moon and the sun are debates that are pages long in Planist doctrine. Believe me, they have it all figured out. Even the moon phases, with is an argument that I don't follow.

Good, then one of them should be able to bounce a radio signal off the moon using their math. The transit time is long enough to measure your own echo on an oscilloscope. Roughly 2.5 seconds if I remember correctly. That's assuming you can find one of them that believes in radio.
When I did my EME experiments I could detect my own echo, and hear a few signals on an EME contest day. I used a crude but effective "no math" method of aiming my dish. I mounted a piece of electrical conduit to the dish such that you could sight through it. I lined it up using sun noise in my receiver. Then used it to sight the moon.
I was using a rather unused frequency band (902 MHz) that is only legal for ham use in north America. There was an EME distance record that could be broken by a station in south Florida, which was my objective......never happened.

I was going to tell you that when I was a child I had a fixation with the coast of Australia and would trace it from maps in great detail.............................
An interesting contradiction, have you ever considered that there is nothing to follow? I have been asked occasionally by members to not post in their threads on certain subjects one of which involved collapsing the field in a common mode choke to create a scalar wave. Garbage physics plain and simple, there is nothing to follow it is just made up.
