As we get to the new DIY kits coming out and thinking of new monstrosities, is it possible (or just dumb) to think of an effiencet way to put a OB xo (B5), ACA or other, and a B1 w/ gain in the same enclosure?
Can I use the same linear ps inside? Would this cause more issues than good.
Thoughts?

There are advantages to separate components.
No reason why you can combine all in one box.
Remember you will need 4 channels of ACAs.
First get all the components before settling on a chassis.
Shoehorning boards into a case after the fact is not fun.

you said you were using the B5. It's a 2-way crossover.
Unless you are listening to mono, you will need 4 channels. 😉

ACA is great for mids and tweeters, but will likely fail to power OB woofers.
(I use ACA to power my he1000 v2 headphones, the best headphones amp I heard)
Better use some powerful class AB amp for woofers. Even lm3886 would do.

I'll just use the b5 out to a orca and your right have to use my sub amp I have now for the ob 15s.
