Have now a F5t build under way with 2x 600va.

The 18V 500VA Sedlbauer looks very well made with connectors on the cables for easier install. I will check in a few weeks if they sound good as well. Price was €90 including shipping and taxes to Sweden.
unfortunately my sedlbauer RSO-825059 hums. I suspect the metal plate its sat on isnt helping the situation. I keep meaning to try dampening it.

I know toroidy.pl and owner 10+ years. I bought more than 15 trafos both in normal and audio grades. Some were even made with really strange voltages. Once i asked to have my nick on trafo label. Never got any problem. Never heard hum or buzz. And owner makes valve amps for fun. Search no more...
I've said it before and I'll say it again, toroidy makes awesome transformers. Beautiful quality, exactly to specifications, silent. No hum, no buzz, and I have not run into any problems with stay fields yet (the audio series has a Gauss band).I have several of their transformers ranging from 50VA to 600VA in use. Phono pre, preamps, headphone amps, power amps. I certainly won't be looking for another manufacturer, toroidy is the bee's knees.

rodeodave is right. I wish I lived in Europe so I could get TOROIDY transformers without spending a fortune in freight.
fabrice63 is even more right. For stereo to really work there needs to be two completely separate channels. NO shared power supplies between channels for the best effect. Let the lazy try to convince you otherwise that a cap here and a wire placed there (just so) will make it as good as two transformers. They probably say the same thing about mp3s ...
