Raka,
Thats a nice layout you have there, what tool did you use? I'm literally drawing squares in paintshop pro for metal, and I made templates for the C,R, and Q. I plan on using a star point-to-point grounding scheme.
I like that my layout (l-channel, r-channel, PS1, PS2) all fit on a single 6x9 PCB so I can develop one and cut it apart afterwards.
I realized a couple of simplification in the R18,9/11, area where all teh crossing happens.. I'll put it in tonight.

I use circuitmaker and traxmaker, and I recommend it over paintshop pro, of course. My pcb is also a standard pcb size (150x220mm). In general, you have to take care of the lenght of the traces. I'll tell you soon if my layout works as expected.
could we get some gerber files of these boards, or something suitable to give to the board maker???
Thanx

OOOh,
Very nice PCB.. I really like the way you laid down the IRFP240s to get more routing room behind them... I was keeping mine on the edge which now I believe is the wrong idea 🙁 Guess Its time to redesign my output stages all overa gain 🙁

Quick question about ground
Since I have a dual-mono powersupply. Do I keep the left/right grounds seperate?

If running dual mono, I would keep them seperate. Joining them would make for a connection possibly prone to induce some of the dreaded HUMMM!Since I have a dual-mono powersupply. Do I keep the left/right grounds seperate?

pleaze......
Hi all of you.
Please acaudio, would you be so kind to post your layout or pcb file?
I've got no money at this time , but we can arrange for a sort of gastronomical ( italian stuff) vs. hi end exchange if you want😀 😀 😀

Pamaz, if it was me you asked, I would say yes right away. Italian food is the best😉 If I am allowed to go a bit off topic, the Italians are best at lots of things🙂 Designing for one!I've got no money at this time , but we can arrange for a sort of gastronomical ( italian stuff) vs. hi end exchange if you want
I am driving an Alfa Romeo😀 😀 Great stuff🙂

Italians do it better!
(Sorry always off topic.)
They used to say this, but probably they were not thinking at political issues.....

Thanks a lot. You've been really kind and I think I will not be the only one that is appreciating your work.
If i can say thanks with some fine noodles( not the normal one that you buy at the mall) let me have your address via pm.
Thanks

Hi acaudio!
Real nice board layout!
I have one comment though, i would like to see R3 between the midpoint of R7/R5 and Q1 rather then the way it is placed now. The same goes of course for R4 on the other side.
BR,
Anders

My heatsinks finally arrived 🙂
They look sweet, except somehow the heatsinks ended up being bigger than the whole chassis. Not sure if thats a drawback or an advantage quite yet 😉
I'm finishing up my PCB layout using ideas from Adam's pdf file - Nice job BTW
I hope to get PCBs and the chassis finished over the thanksgiving weekend 🙂
