You're right, probably crossower schematic can be seen on the net, a bit of searching I found this one mk1 with available crossover values http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/Peerless_HDS830875.htm , looks nice too on measurement

Depending on the OP's budget and needs, the Nomex 164 could be a very good choice: driver cost about A$700; due to the $A relative to the $US, Peerless etc are now better value than Dayton Audio: the 830875 are $99 compared to the DC160 at $80, for example and the Peerless is higher quality, looks cooler IMHO and can be surface mounted.
Crossover parts as per Troels' specified design would be expensive, but should be able to be substituted with good, but less expensive gear from Speakerbug.

Just by playing with C-C distance and phase, I was able to get the flattest response I've ever had or seen for a setup without active EQ, passive notches nor even BSC, and only one capacitor in the whole signal.
Clean, clear and detailed...

If the OP is still wanting to use the Dayton DC250 10" woofer here's some ideas:
post #11 this crossover or the woofer section and
https://techtalk.parts-express.com/...ver-config-for-a-very-cheap-10-3-way-retrofit
? plus
DA990 830656 DX25TG tweeter section

or
Peerless OC25SC65-04 (something other than this $$$ horn?)
https://josephcrowe.com/blogs/news/peerless-oc25sc65-04-with-horn-no-1900
Simulate and see.

Other 10" woofers- Visaton W250, Dayton DSA270-8, Eminence Alpha 10 (see Pi Speakers, 2Pi model-one cap, one inductor, and one resistor)

While perhaps not the best value for money, but with a simple and cheap crossover, the Dayton DC200 has been used with the Dayton DC28F by several people and could give the retro look required:

Adason's TC9FD18 MTM (or NOLA Brio Clone) plus subwoofer or Ampslab Flycatcher II Dayton GF 180-4 subwoofer

https://ampslab-spk.com/2023/11/29/flycatcher2/
Build it to look like a NOLA
Things are pricey in Australia.

Here's the tower version of the DC200/DC28F:
https://projectgallery.parts-express.com/speaker-projects/noahs-8s/
Things can be rather costly here due to the general decline of the $A, particularly against the US$ and pound. Further, shipping costs from the US have more than doubled over the past three years or so. Ouch.
Therefore, products sourced from outside the US usually represent better value for money, as noted above. An SB16pfc or Peerless 830657 woofer cost A$45 and sound nicer then the DC160, albeit without the excellent bass extension of the Dayton. Rant over...........
As for having cabinets made, if you can't DIY, double ouch: most firms aren't interested and those which are, charge many $; a family friend made our my Slapshot MTM cabinets for $550pr - cabinet maker's quote was $1380. He did a lovely job, too.

Floor-stander at the end of page http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/Discovery-81.htm , probably one of the best speaker from Troels, prety cheap for what you can get.
Maybe Troels would agree to sell the crossower scheme if a non-sharing agreement was made beforehand... ? To be honest I not like kits, first of all it cost a lot if one who buy is not from that country, even I'm believing its very expensive even if one who buy live in the same coutry : ) But shipping to Australia might become ahh soo expensive for the kit, probably 5x the price of the kit, not an option in real.

I have plan for a long time to build an florstander similar to Discovery-81 but using this driver https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/midr...er-8-ohm-95db-40hz-5000hz-o203cm-p-10350.html , its one of the best 8" driver, very eficient and also capable of easy first order crossower, but reguire an very eficient tweeer, this one might be the best match https://www.raalribbon.com/products_flatfoil_140-15.htm to that JA-HMQ driver. Very promissing for an high end speaker. Curenly my dreams only : )
An example for an nice first order implementation https://www.humblehomemadehifi.com/download/Humble Homemade Hifi_Plutone.pdf , simply brutal.

I noticed that, too: even if the OP didn't care for the advice or was confused by the many options suggested, an acknowledgement would have been nice; maybe they're on holiday or something?
People do put some thought into answering these inquiries.
