Hi,
Sorry for the hiatus. Just back from vacation. I'll check on the switch.
The variac is a big double-ganged unit in a perfed sheetmetal enclosure. Must weigh about 50lbs. Made for big amperage.

Hello,
I'm interested in the Dynaudio D-54af pair in trax horns. Are they still avaiable, and if so, what's you're price and how are the horns holding up? Thanks.

Hi KOA,
Sorry for the delay.
Here's a pic of the JBL e-145 pair. They're both in fine functional condition. One appears to have a newer recone with JBL factory parts.
I'll take $350 for the pair, plus shipping. Shipping to 98115 would be $50 ($25 each for two seperate packages--these suckers are HEAVY.)

if there is any way you could do 325 shipped that would be awsome. my car just broke so the unexpected expenses have made my budget real tight. just let me know. thanks again.

a couple questions. the one that has been reconed, are you sure they are jbl parts? have you played them recently? i just want to make sure they are usable as is and using the correct moving assebly from jbl. i plan on using it for a bass guitar cab and an aftermarket recone might not give the correct response. thanks again

the e-145 doesn't seem to be able to be reconed with other jbl soft parts except for its own because of the very short VC from the underhung motor design. being that im unsure of the recone i could only pay 275 shipped maximum.
Thanks for the offer, but I'm sticking with my original price of $350 for the pair. Depending where the buyer is, I might be able to include shipping at that price.
Check Ebay completed auctions sometime, and you'll find the going rate for pairs of these is $400+ before shipping.
Good luck in your search, KOA.

sorry for a the wishy washiness. i would like to offer 175 shipped for the original soft part e-145.
Hi KOA,
Sorry again, but I'm selling a pair only. $175 firm. If you've priced them out, you know that's less than the price of a single new one. Mine are in good shape with perfect diaphragms.

just to put things in perspective and maybe you have something else that is suitable. im building a bass guitar cab. that was what the e-145 would have been for. now im exploring a different avenue using a phl 5200 15inch 98 db 1w/m 121db continuous output woofer that should be crossed over at 1500hz . if you have any single compression drivers/ horns that can cross in at 1500hz i would be interested.
I actually bought another single 475, so now I'm using a pair on my OBs, and I'm selling the other pair. A few months ago, I woulda happily sold you a single...
I don't know what kind of power handling you're looking for, but I do have a couple different drivers that come to mind, especially if you're into vintage. One is a nice Goodmans wideband 12" with whizzer cone. Another is a really nice Knight 15" coaxial. It's a Jensen OEM with a whizzer cone and coaxially mounted Jensen RP302 (the famous one). If it's a bass guitar and the overtones aren't as high level as the fundamental, the tweeter power handling should be okay.
Edit: Just saw your SPL target in your edit.
