Samples sould arrive today or tommorrow. I will have transfer curve comparison between 19n20C and 16n25C. If these are close, I wouldnt expect any real signifiant deviation anywhere else considering how close the two datasheets match.
buzzforb, I've done quite a bit of MOSFET testing in the past few years. I can at lest help you out witht the theory. I've probably done all the other tests though. Most were RdsON, Idsmax, SOA curve data, performance in switching applications, etc. Swithching stuff is not what we want but I understand all this raz ma taz pretty well... 😛

Thanks FLG. I appreciate the offer. I have the fets, but waiting on some test bed components. I should have some numbers in next couple of days.

Here is the basic comparison.

They look pretty close, offset a bit, I guess you ideally want them to overlay each other or at least overlay the p channel?
Can you adjust something to get them to overlay, or are you pointing out that they are too different?

Little update. Almosr done with N channel. Matching is good. P Channel not as good, but OK. I have acces to more and may have to get them to ensure matches, but all looks good. I wouls day that shipment within 4-6 weeks is likely. Thanks.
Began with traditional methods. Didnt start using curve tracer until after i verifed its performance against fets matched using traditional methods. Results are very repeatable using both methods. For curve tracer matching, i test them, sort them by Vgs and then retest again before final sort.
