Has anyone thought about just using a cap to bypass the source resistors ?
Ok the value would need to be rather large but on the other hand it would
at a low voltage .
Yes I have thought about doing this sought of thing on the F3 amp, but this is not even necessary here.
There is no problem to solve here, we already have a circuit that is happy running without source resistors in the first place. Touch Wood. Hahahaha

The only parts they had in stock at Digikey was 48N60P and 40P50P.
I was hoping to get 2 of every part listed in the first post but the MOQ at digikey made it too expensive to order the others in.
That was what I was originally planning on to determine the best matching parts, but we have enough tricks up our sleeve not to be too concerned about perfect matching. So I might just stick with those.
I'll start measuring 48N60P.

I'll be just producing curves of Id vs Vgs using a simplified version of Papa's mosfet tester.

Broskie has some some blog entries on circuits using a 2SK82 in a buffer configuration, FWIW. There is more interesting content beyond that, most far over my head
